🎣 Day six of my angling quest to catch a 2026 fish
Time flies, as they say, and six days in to a new year I set off for my daily fishing fix, still looking to get something on the bank. However, as any angler in the UK knows, at the moment it’s extremely tough going.
Last night was the coldest of the year so far and even late morning, with the sun out, it was still minus-1C. I have switched things around in 2026, in my quest to engage with a fish. Well, I have had a few half-hearted enquiries but nothing serious.
There is a spot that I have fished on a brook in the past, which has been very kind to me. Therefore, that’s where I chose to fish today. It was a long, but very pleasant walk to the area. Did I catch? Well, as I say in the video: There’s always another day, there’s always tomorrow…
