🎣 Fishing | On the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal with Ian Clarke 📹 Making videos | A new gadget makes its debut
Due to other commitments, today’s angling session was an evening one, and I enjoyed another session with my good friend, Ian Clarke. I like Ian, he’s one of the best.
We are both originally from Sedgley and that’s where we first met. In 1964, to be precise, at Queen Victoria Infants school, in the heart of the Black Country village.
That’s what everyone called it then, the village. The older people – like Ian and I – still do but, to the younger ones, it’s probably a town.
You can follow the session via the video but, suffice to say, it was certainly a very slow one, although we both caught. The boxes were all ticked but we only just made it over the line. That’s fishing for you.
I bought a new toy the other day. It’s nothing fancy, elaborate or complicated, just a dashboard attachment for my iPhone, so I can add something extra to the footage I record.
You can see the debut result at the start of the video above, which is a time-lapse recording of the car journey, from start to finish, as I made my way to the canal. Visit the home page.
