🎣 Tench fishing a lake and at least I wasn’t a blanker
Variety is the spice of life, as they say, and so this morning I fished a lake in pursuit of tench. It has been on my radar for a few weeks.
In the last year or so, it has definitely gone off the boil, as far as tincas are concerned, but always up for a challenge, I fancied a go.
It was another early start and I fished just over four hours. I pulled out of two early tench and then I caught a roach, so at least I wasn’t a blanker.
Then, right at the end, I lost another tinca. Not my day.
Rather than be discouraged though, the session has merely inspired me to return, where I will be looking to put the wrong right, so to speak. Visit the home page.
