🎣 Fishing the Severn: Four days of the river season remaining
Although I didn’t go to bed until 12.30 a.m., I was still up four hours later, beating the alarm clock by thirty minutes. The body is always willing to go fishing and, with four days of the river season remaining, that’s exactly what I did.
I was on the middle Severn and, as always, you can follow the session via the video. Unfortunately, no fish today but there’s always another day, there’s always tomorrow.
As far as the natural world was concerned, there were four goosanders feeding on the far side of the river. Although I didn’t see it, there was a chiffchaff singing in the copse behind where I was seated.
