🎶 The Temptations In Japan: Album review
Recorded on December 13, 1973, The Temptations In Japan was released the following year on October 31.
The performance was live in Tokyo and the album contains early classics such as Get Ready and My Girl, as well as more recent (at the time) songs.
In particular, the album was a big success for the group as a whole, because it showed the seamless transition from Eddie Kendricks and Paul Williams to Damon Harris and Richard Street.
Both were excellent, as they performed tracks that they didn’t originally record. I’m not a fan of live albums but it is The Temptations, so definitely a thumbs-up from me.
