🎣 Small river fishing: Three days of the river season remaining
After yesterday’s session on the mighty Severn, it was the opposite end of the size spectrum this morning, when I fished a small river.
The days are now longer than the nights and, although I was up at 5.00 a.m. I’m still not beating my neighbours, who are off their drive to go to work before I depart for the water’s edge.
That will change soon though, as the alarm continues to be reset every few days. I quite like getting up early, especially when it’s for angling and not work. I’ve done plenty of the latter in my life, now it’s time for the former.
I netted just the one fish but it was a decent enough chub, when you take the venue into account. Plus, it wasn’t the only fish-related action, as you can see in the video. Certainly a spot to visit again in the future.
