🎣 Work to start the working week, followed by brook fishing
Not quite as early as when I go fishing but, nevertheless, it was still a first thing start to Monday. It was the pull of a garden though, as opposed to water.
Once I had completed the weeding, pruning, cleaning and tidying, I went fishing. With just six days remaining of the flowing water season, I decided to target a brook.
It was for just an hour and, in that time, I didn’t even get a bite. I fished by far, the most productive looking swim on the section. You can follow, as always, the session in the video.
I saw a kingfisher as it flashed past, heading upstream. The fungi, by the way, that you can see in the video is scarlet elf cup. They are small and often overlooked but, look closely, and you can spot them on woodland floors.
