A walk around Sedgley, I don’t miss it
I was in Sedgley with my wife today, as we visited a building society, supermarket and the surgery.
After parking, I captured footage of the area, which if you’re familiar with Sedgley, you’ll know the route we took.
I lived in the Black Country village (as it was known when I was a youngster and before lots of development saw it expand) up until three years ago, so it’s been a big part of my life in that sense.
Whenever I go back though, I don’t feel anything. That’s both positive and negative, by the way.
I’ve got good memories not bad ones but I don’t feel that I want to be back there.
It’s nothing personal towards Sedgley. I loved it but that was then and this is now.
I’ve moved on and that’s why, no other reason.
