Two days in the capital, first though some fishing
I’m off on my football-related travels this morning, but before then, I was up before dark and on the bank at first light.
I was on a pool and in a spot that I have fished before but not for a long time.
The tackle approach was still the same as always though, the only difference was that I adjusted the depth between the float and the hook as it’s deeper than my recent pond sessions.
I trickled out loose maggots and cast over them, allowing the bait to sink naturally.
The session lasted just an hour and I caught lots of roach and a few perch.
Next stop, the capital.
