Hawkeye And The Last Of The Mohicans: Hawkeye’s Homecoming

Episode 1. 1957. Set in New York’s Hudson Valley in the 1750s.

Starring John Hart as Nat Cutler (Hawkeye) and Lon Chaney as Chingachgook.

Hawkeye returns home to find that since he’s been away, his brother has joined the army.

Then there’s a shot in the area and it’s his brother, fatally wounded by a native scout who is a traitor against the British.

Initially, the authorities don’t believe Hawkeye and Chingachgook, and they are arrested and imprisoned.

It comes good in the end though and in one-on-one combat, Hawkeye kills the traitor.
