The premium bonds draw has been made and it’s our best month ever
It doesn’t feel like a month since I was saying to my wife, after September’s poor premium bonds result that, “never mind, it will soon be October”.
Well, it came round quickly enough and it was our best reveal yet. With just £50 last month, this time we had £1,050, so from one end of the financial spectrum to the other.
There were only three wins though, as we both got 1x £25, while I had 1x £1,000. I don’t know what my wife is doing with her few pounds but I’ve got lots of plans to spend my grand-plus.
Joking aside, it all goes into our joint account and is used for living expenses. In fact, it’s a key part of our income since I retired.
