🪶 The first swifts of the year 🏡 A good week of gardening on the road
🪶 I saw my first swifts of 2025 on May 8, with two birds over Kingswinford.
They’re the last migrants to arrive and the first to go.
Once they’re here, you know that summer is just around the corner.
Likewise, when they go, autumn isn’t that far away.
Time flies when you think of it like that, doesn’t it?
🏡 I’m enjoying my new-found calling very much indeed. Gardening, that is, and now I’m finding my green-fingered hobby is in wider demand.
This week has been busy – and there’s footage in the video below – but not that it’s taking away from being retired. That’s important.
