Based on Enid Blyton’s Famous Five, this is episode 3 in series 1 of the BBC reworking.
Jason Flemyng is The Great Supremo, who has access to a diamond and, while on the run from a criminal gang, he crosses paths with the children.
In the end, the diamond is useless but Sir Lincoln Aubrey (Art Malik) also has a plan to hypnotise the public to avoid war (it’s set in the thirties).
The children save the day.
An excellent quote from The Great Suoremo: ‘We all die, my boy, but a few, a lucky few, get to live.’
