🌞 Welcome to August
Welcome to August, the final month of summer.
They say that time flies, and that most certainly is the case this year, as we begin the eighth month of 2024.
Top-flight Welsh football gets underway in August, and with The New Saints continuing their European campaign, that means a busy month for me as far as work is concerned.
This will be my last month pursuing tench, although I will be fishing for other species as well, but once we hit September, psychologically it’s autumn, and I will be saying farewell to the tincas.
It’s also austerity August, as far as my health is concerned.
I’ve noticed recently that I’m developing the early stages of a protruding belly and, as far as I’m concerned, the only people to have big stomachs should be pregnant women.
Therefore, I’m going to shed one stone during the month.
