🎣 Fishing | Back to still water angling and a tench session on the challenging pool
After a couple of river sessions on the bounce, it was back to a still water this morning. Not that I fancied a change, but rather, it fitted in with my schedule for the day.
The pool in question is what I call the needle-in-a-haystack venue, certainly where tench are concerned. On this occasion, I didn’t get one on the end of the line, never mind on the bank.
However, I didn’t blank because I netted a nice roach. It did have a tinge of rudd to it though, so technically a hybrid. There’s a lot of cross-pollination on this particular pool.
