🎣 Fishing | Last pool session before the river season gets underway
I can’t call it one more sleep because I will be ready for a midnight river start but, nevertheless, I was up early this morning for my final still water session before June 16.
I went on the pool in pursuit of needle-in-a-haystack tench. They’re in there but not in great numbers. That’s evident by the catch returns I have. Still, up for a challenge, and all that.
These type of venues are often a fine line in terms of achieving your goal and, on this session, I was just on the wrong side of it, courtesy of a list fish. I netted a roach though, so at least I wasn’t a blanker.
