🎣 Fishing | The first visit to the River Severn, as the new season gets underway
It’s not that often I fish twice in one day, but that was the case on June 16, as the new river season emerged from a three-month hibernation.
After the midnight start on a stream, I followed that up with a late afternoon visit to the middle reaches of the River Severn.
I caught three species, although just four fish in total. A brace of gudgeon led the way, with a single chub and perch completing the quartet.
