🎣 Fishing | On an estate lake in pursuit of tench
I’ve certainly been doing a lot of tench fishing of late and the reason for that is quite simple. I’m enjoying it. Regardless of what type of angling we do, that should always be the first box that we tick.
In order to be on the bank at first light, I was up at 3.00 a.m. and that’s where the video begins, in the kitchen at home. The venue in question is a 31 miles round trip but it’s a totally rural journey.
I caught a couple of tench – and had one hook pull – in the five hours that I was there. This type of angling will always be quality over quantity, which actually suits me. In reality, I would sooner catch two fish that needed the landing net, rather than two hundred that didn’t.
