🎣 Angling chair repair and score draw fishing on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal
With flowing water behind us, I was on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal at first light with Ian Clarke. We’ve had a chilly spell of late and, just yesterday, I was scraping ice from the car windows before I left home.
I caught the first two fish – a gudgeon and a perch – before Ian pulled back to make it 2-2, with the same species. That’s how it ended after three hours, hence the reference to a score draw. It was certainly a slow session but at least we caught.
