Welcome to Talacre, home for a week
Our first holiday of the year is a return to Talacre.
On the Welsh side of the Dee estuary, as it empties into the Irish Sea, it’s where my wife and I went for the first time together once our girls were grown-up.
We went for Talacre just in case we needed to get back home quickly, as it’s not too far away, but liked it and have been back since by choice.
By the time you’re reading this, by the way, we’ll be back home.
