Natterjack toad breeding project at Talacre
The natterjack toad is one of our rarest amphibians in the UK.
One of its strongholds is Talacre, and on our last night of the holiday, we went to the section of the sand dunes where the pools are.
It’s a conservation area and is fenced off but, with the help of my binoculars, I got some great views of the creatures at dusk.
