Guest speaker at a church
A few weeks back, I had a telephone call on behalf of a church in West Bromwich.
Would I like to speak at a Sunday service?
The answer was yes and, on the weekend just gone, I went to the church in question and delivered the sermon.
It’s a very friendly and welcoming fellowship and I felt very much at home.
The response was great and they asked if I will return.
Some years ago, during a particular season, I spoke at many different churches.
In fact, at one time my diary was full for months in advance.
Now that I’m retired from a church-based pastoral ministry, will the itinerant calling once again present opportunities?
It will certainly be interesting to see how things develop.
