The New Saints lift the JD Cymru Premier title
My own pre-match media involvement for the JD Cymru Premier MD26 fixture between The New Saints and Cardiff Met FC began in the week, with the match preview article and press conference interview with Craig Harrison.
With the women’s team in action on the weekend against Wrexham in the Welsh Cup, there was also the same with Greg Draper.
Although TNS’ game against Cardiff was not until Saturday, the day before was significant, because if Connah’s Quay Nomads failed to beat Bala Town, three points for The New Saints would secure the league title.
I followed the game, via the internet, and the 1-0 victory for Bala meant that the stage was set for the following day.
