Pursuing perch on the Staffordshire/Worcestershire Canal
One thing I could never be accused of is not making the most of life.
That was the case today, when I went fishing twice.
This time round it was a couple of hours or so up to dark on the Staffordshire/Worcestershire Canal.
Fishing next to a lock and a bridge, it was a perfect setting for a perch, which was my target species this time.
However, I didn’t even get a single indication on the float that a fish was even remotely interested.
I fished two red maggots over brown crumb and mixed maggots.
