A part of history as The New Saints beat Penybont FC
Pre-match media for the JD Cymru Premier MD19 game between The New Saints and Penybont FC, as always, involved writing the match preview and doing the press conference with Craig Harrison.
We had Oswestry Boys And Girls Club U-10s with us for the game and I gave them a tour of the stadium.
The TNS staff and players were brilliant with them, as you can see in the video below.
Making history referred to the fact that it was the first time a Welsh club has broadcast a league game live.
Although it didn’t go out across UK and Ireland, due to rights, the rest of the world was covered.
Joining me on commentary for this historic occasion was Greg Draper.
The game ended 3-0, with goals from Jordan Williams, Josh Pask and Declan McManus.
Back after several months out with injury, Declan came on as a substitute, scoring from a free-kick with his first touch!
Brilliant!
There were lots of video clips to work on post-match, as well as the five talking points article.
