On the pool again and back on the roach

Footage from the water’s edge.

If you enjoy it, keep doing it, and that’s the case on my latest angling session, as I returned to the pool that featured in the last two fishing-related posts.

After putting in a couple of large balls of brown crumb and mixed maggots, I had action from the first cast.

Then, about ten minutes, in it went dead.

With a pike banked on the last outing, no doubt there was one sniffing around again.

After a while, the predator must have departed because the roach returned.

It was just a short session because next stop is The New Saints v Penybont FC at Park Hall.

Nature notes: Five ravens flew from the woodland that runs alongside the pool at first light. After leaving their roosting spot, they headed in an easterly direction. A sixth bird remained in the wood for a while before flying off in the same direction as the others.
