Scrape ice, go fishing
I loaded the car but before I could drive I had to scrape ice from the windshield.
I had to do this recently but it was a very thin layer and it was off in no time at all.
This time though, it was harder to shift and required some serious effort.
The windows and wipers were locked solid, so I had to make sure they were working as well, before I continued my journey.
I was pond fishing and there’s more on the session in the accompanying video, as well as the tackle that was used.
I was there for an hour or so, and by the time I got back in the car to drive home, the sun was up and the evidence of ice had all but disappeared.
I had a brief time in the garden though before I took a shower and there were still patches that hadn’t been reached by the sun at that time.
