The 9th in the EON Productions James Bond movies, The Man With The Golden Gun was released in December 1974.

Roger Moore is James Bond, Britt Ekland is Goodnight and the baddie, Scaramanga, is played by Christopher Lee.

The battle is for a solar device, which at the time was topical due to the energy crisis.

Scaramanga is a hitman but in the end he is killed by Bond.
