Premium bonds draw
While on holiday, the monthly premium bonds draw was made.
It’s not something we look forward to in the way that maybe some people sit down to watch the lottery draw in the hope that they’ve won the big one.
Then feel disappointed when they haven’t.
For us (my wife and I), we see our bonds investment as a top-up for our semi-retirement income.
We do have a fair amount invested in bonds so, naturally, expect a certain return each month, which is usually what we get.
This time, however, we were well below normal.
Checking my wife’s first, she had 1x £50 but when it came to me I blanked.
