Considering the conditions, a result on a small pond
Storm Babet itself may have passed but the consequences remain.
As far as angling is concerned, the rivers are in flood and even many stillwaters are coloured.
That was the case for me this morning, as I began the working week on a small pond that is fed by a brook.
The brook has been like a small river the last few days and consequently the water is full of sediment.
However, as long as your bait’s in the water and all that.
Even if it was just the one roach, at least I was on the right side of the line.
