Passion versus obsession, playing football, going fishing
I haven’t been fishing for a couple of days. I can hear the violins appearing because, for the vast majority of anglers, that’s normal.
For someone who gets out most days however, it’s unusual.
It hasn’t bothered me though and I’ve just got on with other things. I didn’t even think about it.
That’s the difference, as I so often say, between passion and obsession.
The former is healthy, the latter isn’t.
It was still nice to go to bed though, knowing I was fishing the next morning.
After playing football the evening before, I felt it when I stirred.
So you should. It doesn’t matter whether you’re 21 or 61, if you’ve given everything physically, it should have an impact on your body.
