The seventh in the EON Productions series of Janes Bond movies, Diamonds Are Forever is the sixth and final one to star Sean Connery.
Released in 1971, the $7.2 million budget saw a big profit at the box office, with the film grossing $116 million.
Bond goes undercover as a smuggler to find out what’s happening to diamonds once they leave South Africa.
It turns out that Blofeld is involved and that he intends to fund a bomb that will threaten USA.
Bond, as always, foils the plot and saves the day.
