A long journey ahead, first though some fishing
With a working trip to Edinburgh later in the morning, I started the day on a small pond.
If you follow my blog posts on a regular basis, you’ll know how much I enjoy fishing those type of venues.
You might not catch monster fish – although you certainly get plenty of surprises – but if you’re realistic then they can be very rewarding.
Especially the ones that are very lightly fished – if at all – the residents aren’t as wary as places where there’s constant angling pressure.
I had a steady trickle of perch and roach and there’s a random selection of both in the video.
