Plenty of fish on the bank
As stated, the line strength didn’t prove to be an obstacle to getting roach on the bank.
The best one is in the lead image, with others in the video.
The reason I was fishing with 6lb line is that, while I’m happy to catch roach, nevertheless I was hoping to connect with a needle in a haystack i.e. a bream, tench or even a carp.
They’re in there but, as I’ve intimated, not prolific.
