Behind the media scenes as The New Saints close in on a 15th Cymru Premier title and I saw a barn owl on the rabbit run near Badger

Due to other work commitments the following day, I needed to wrap everything up on the night.

It meant I didn’t get to bed until well after 1.00 a.m. but it was nice to draw the line under everything.

The win means that The New Saints now has a lead of seventeen-points at the top of the JD Cymru Premier and with just eight games to go, it isn’t presumptuous to use the term champions-elect.

The ‘elect’ could be dropped this Friday, when the leaders travel to second-placed Connah’s Quay Nomads.

Avoid defeat and it’s a record-breaking 15th title, which isn’t bad when you consider that the league only started in 1992.

    1. Lovely birds and I always keep an eye open for them when driving home in the dark.
I’ve had several sightings over the years in that wider general, including one a few weeks back which was perched on a post by the side of the road.
