The JD Cymru Premier MD26 game between The New Saints and Bala Town was a landmark fixture for the former, as it was the club’s 1000th top-flight outing.
My own media involvement began on Sunday when I wrote my ‘Views from the press box’ column for the match day programme.
Three days later and I wrote, published and shared the match preview on The New Saints’ website.
That includes the background to the fixture, statistics, the kits and the officials.
Then the snow fell and Friday’s game was postponed and scheduled for the following Monday.
The Barn owl sighting is a rare prize!! Not seen one for a long time.
Lovely birds and I always keep an eye open for them when driving home in the dark.
I’ve had several sightings over the years in that wider general, including one a few weeks back which was perched on a post by the side of the road.
