This morning’s angling session, pottering around the garden, a visit to Sedgley and a reminder that home is where the heart is

Therefore, it goes without saying that it proved to be a difficult session.

Although I didn’t have a vast expanse of water in front of me, I did utilise the space as much as possible.

I cast to the extreme left, the right and out into the centre of the pool.

Each cast worked initially, as I caught a fish but then it went dead as I saw the flash of a pike.

With the predator responses to my casting being very quick ones, that’s why I wouldn’t have been surprised if there were several pike out there.
