When we first moved, it was quite some time before we saw house sparrows.
In our previous home, they were the main visitors.
Over time though, they’ve become more regular to the point where we now have our very own resident colony.
Today, watched at least seven feeding and bathing in the garden.
Once common, house sparrows are now on the red list of endangered species.
