Garden nature diary – November 2022

November 1

We do occasionally get carrion crows on the feeding station but, like the other corvids, they are fairly wary.

Out and about just as dawn was breaking though, while it was still very quiet, a single, calling bird flew over our home.

I stock the feeding station every morning and the seed tray is a big attraction for wood pigeons and today, within minutes, there was one bird on the tray and five below it.
