I can remember when you had to telephone – on your landline – to check on levels.
It was expensive and to get the trend you had to call several times.
Now, it’s free and easy and you can do it all on your mobile phone via the internet.
As expected, the upper Severn stretches I had as options weren’t looking good, especially as I wanted to fish for chub with bread.
Working my way across the border though and looking at the Shropshire station readings, some were much better than others as far as options were concerned.
