Killing two birds with one stone, fishing on the upper reaches of the River Severn

One of the ways that you can get more from life is to follow the principle of killing two birds with one stone.

I’m sure you’re familiar with the saying, it means to achieve a couple of things with just one action.

In this particular case, I was going to Newtown for a working football game and I set off a couple of hours earlier to fish on the way.

Hence, I killed two birds with one stone.
