Like many people find, especially at certain times of the year, we also know that our home can be on the damp side and especially so in the bedroom, as we have an enclosed en-suite shower room.
It was a random conversation that my wife had last week, with one of our neighbours, when they got round to talking about damp.
The neighbour mentioned that they had bought a dehumidifier, which they were raving about.
It certainly got me thinking and I did some research online.
The Internet is great, isnât it, if you use it correctly.
Anyway, we were more than happy to go with our neighboursâ recommendation and today, our new Meaco 20 litre dehumidifier arrived.
After reading through the manual and becoming familiar with the appliance, we switched it on and got it going.
The initial reading made me realise just how damp our home is, and that was confirmed by the amount of water gathered in just a few hours.
First impressions?
So far, so good.
