🎣 A not ideal angling session but it could have been worse

After yesterday’s successful visit to a small pool, that’s where I returned this time round.

Plus, with it being a bank holiday weekend, I wanted somewhere quiet to enjoy some Sunday morning fishing.

However, being out first thing, combined with a short session of three hours, means that there aren’t many people out and about anyway at that time.

Fishing a couple of rod-lengths from the bank in five-feet of water, the bait was a single prawn over brown crumb and prawns.

I mixed the crumb to a consistency whereby it broke on hitting the surface of the water, rather than a solid ball ending up on the bed of the pool.

I banked one bream, one perch and one roach, while losing two tench.

Therefore, not ideal, but it could have been worse.
