🚗 I know that cars don’t run on fresh air but it feels like it sometimes
I filled my car with petrol last Thursday and it was more than a week later, the following Friday, when the line on the fuel gauge dropped from full to 7/8.
That’s very impressive indeed and, especially so, when you consider I haven’t been cutting back on driving.
In fact, quite the opposite, as I’ve done everything that I wanted to do over the last week or so.
I’ve been fishing every day, shopping, visiting places etc.
Not that I need any incentives to see the benefits of retiring from my previous job – far from it – but when they do pop up in this way, then it’s very pleasing indeed.
Especially so, when I look back at how much travelling I was doing in the car previously, how much fuel I was paying for and how the milometer was adding digits like there was no tomorrow, it is now very satisfying indeed.
