🎣 First some work and then some fishing
Although I’m retired, like many people in my situation, I do work from time to time. In my case, it’s gardening which I started last spring, and it’s been coming along nicely.
I’m not actively seeking more opportunities either, otherwise it will start to feel more like ‘proper’ work. What I’ve got at present though is just right, although I do take on things when people need help.
For example, just today I have agreed to look after a bungalow until it’s sold. The house I worked on this morning though – which is my first job of the year – is one of the contracts (for want of a better word) – that I picked up last spring.
As the first part of the day was taken up gardening, my angling opportunity came in the afternoon. I fished a pond for a couple of hours – catching perch in the process – and you can follow the session via the video, including brief footage of the morning’s work.
