🎣 Fishing the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal and rolling back the years
It feels like a long time since I last fished the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal but in reality it isn’t. I was there on Monday and I returned today, which is Friday.
It’s just that I have so much going on in my life, it seems a longer than just a few days.
All good stuff as well, I must add. I commented to my wife just yesterday that I’m busier than ever. It’s all positive though and things that I enjoy doing.
Retirement was never going to be a sit-back-and-vegetate season, as far as I was concerned.
On the canal at first light this morning, you can follow, as always, the session via the video. I fished for a couple of hours or so and caught an all-gudgeon cast.
I can’t remember the last time that was the case. It must be the seventies, hence rolling back the years.
