🎣 Angling | A fun session in bright sunshine on a small, shallow pond
No morning angling session today, instead I was gardening and, in particular, working on a border. This was external work, by the way, not in my own garden.
There’s plenty of the latter to come in the next few days. I’ve got a few jobs lined up. Nothing too involved though, as I do keep on top of things.
I enjoy pottering around in my own garden but when I’m in someone else’s, I get my head down and motor. By the time I finish, it feels like my exercise for the day.
It’s better than being in a gym, plus I get paid, not the other way round. Once home, and after lunch, I went fishing on a pond. The weather was summer-like.
In the bright, sunny conditions, I didn’t expect the angling to be hectic. Plus, it’s only a pond anyway. I caught a few small perch but, above all, it was a very enjoyable couple of hours.
