🎣 Angling | Fishing the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal and introducing Mark Hipkiss
After yesterday’s tench session on a pool, where I netted a brace of tincas, this morning I was on the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal. Variety is the spice of life and all that.
However, we did have an overnight frost, so it was a good choice anyway. As it happened, the canal fish were very obliging and, as always, you can follow the session via the video, where I caught perch and roach.
It was nice to catch up with Mark Hipkiss as well. I have been blogging for so long – and regularly – that naturally I do encounter fellow anglers when I’m out and about who follow the blog.
Recently, I’ve started to ask them if they want to be filmed and, as a result, there’s been some quality additional footage in the videos. Mark was great and I love his story of how he’s got back into angling recently.
