🎣 The impossible dream: Fishing the Dee estuary in 46 mph wind
With wind speeds of 46 mph, and an air temperature that felt like minus-1, it was always going to be difficult fishing the Dee estuary. Still, up for the challenge and all that.
It was certainly one of the more interesting sessions I’ve had for a long time. To put it mildly. The video captures some of the experience. I did film more but all you could see was my mouth moving. The words were drowned out by the wind.
Never mind, there’s always another day. There’s always tomorrow. That will be my last session before we go home. Fortunately, the tides are decent, in terms of time, and the weather forecast is much better.
