Not great conditions on the canal but as long as your bait’s in the water

Wet, windy and lots of debris on the canal.

Not ideal conditions, but I’m great believer that, as long as your bait’s in the water, then you always have a chance.

There’s more on the challenge and swim selection in the video.

It was a tough session but I did have occasional action, which on this occasion were just small roach, but every time the float dipped there was always the hope that it was a big perch.

I fished two white maggots over brown crumb and white maggots.

The worst weather, as far as rain was concerned, was reserved for the journey back to the car.

It’s never been a problem though and it never will.

You cannot allow a drop of water from above to dictate to your life.
